Hi Vintage Dudes.

Ive been riding my Chopper for 5 years in a yearly Charity bike ride Ride to Conquer Cancer, this will be my 6th year 20/21st Oct 17. 200+km over 2 days.

I had one of these when I was 12-16, and through a personal quest I decided to get one for the original fund raiser in 2012.

I have made some changes over the years to suit the Kms, (last year it took 9.5 hours due to headwinds and rain 108kms on day 1).

Headwind and hill climbing bars on the risers

5 speed rear hub Sturmey Archer

Foam bar grips

Box cage front & rear rim

Cross laced rear spokes

GS Sport front & rear tyres (to much drag with the Original red line Knobblies)

Peddle stirrups

2 drink bottle holders

I have just bought a Mk1 frame "Chromed" its in a bit of a state so it shall need rechroming, all the parts modded of the Charity Chopper shall be getting rechromed and put on the Cromey. I will try and give some updates to the Cromey as they happen. First thing is to find a really good chromer to do the business.

Ive attached a pic from 2014 I cant remember how many of the mods were on it then.
