Selling early 80s Merckx Corsa project
Permalink Closed

I bought this frame/fork from a reputable shop that verified it was straight and collected the mix of Campagnolo Nuovo Record and Super Record parts over time intending to build a complete bike but I've lost my workshop space and what little free time I have now I'd rather spend riding my existing bike that working on this project. i want to sell the whole lot together-not part it out. I might have spent a bit too much on ebay for the Campy parts but I've priced it at $900 USD a bit of a loss for me, hoping to sell it to a good home and that it gets built up and back on the road where it belongs.

Early 1980s Merckx Corsa frame and forks. Serial # C4  E 4414

"C" indicates Corsa and "E" in conjunction with brazed on top tube cable guides and and cable routing above the bottom bracket indicates an early 80s frame NOT a 1994-95 production date "E: frame. 24.5 inches/63 centimeters from center of bottom bracket to center of top tube and top tube measures 23"/59cm center headset to center seatpost.

All parts are Campy.

Crankset 175mm arms - used very good condition

Hubs front and rear Super Record 36 hole low flange hubs with skewers - used excellent condition

Derailleurs front and rear Nuovo Record - new old stock

Brake lever assemblies front and rear with white rubber hoods - new old stock
