Just a cowboy from Texas
Permalink Closed

Okay, so I'm not a cowboy. I don't own nor can I ride a horse, I don't own a gun, and I don't work with cows all day, but I was born in Texas!

Anyways, I hopped onto flickr this morning and noticed that classicvintagecycles.org added one of my photos to a group, I accepted it and was naturally curious about the site, so I ended up here. I see that it is based in Singapore, but who cares about geographical differences? Not me.

Here is the picture that was added:

'94 Bianchi Campione D'Italia with full Campagnolo 10s

The picture is out of date, it currently has a C-record era Athena crankset installed

I also have a few other bikes that might be considered vintage.

I have an all original '88 Cannondale(aluminum) SR2000, full dura ace(except the wheels until I get the tubulars glued)

A 1990 Trek 1420(aluminum) frameset waiting to be built. It's in kind of rough shape so it will probably be built as a beater.

A 1986 Raleigh Technium(aluminum front triangle/steel lugs) currently built up as a flatbar road bike for my SO

A classic, but maybe not vintage, 1998 Ibis Spanky(steel) built up with mostly Dura Ace

Welcome to CVC! What a nice bike you have there. Nice to see friends with common interest from the other side of the world. I think there's not many forum like this dedicated to classic and vintage bicycles. Hope you can share your knowledge and option here.
