Hello All,

my name is Jack andhave been into vintage cycles for about 18 months now restoring my 1969 Tall Frame Chopper

and been buying other bikes ever since. I now own the 1969 Tall Frame Chopper, which the original parts took a lot of time

and money to get hold of, 2 Mk2 Special Edition Choppers and another 1969 Tall Frame Frameset which just had extensive

repairs as the pin stand housing was broken and the head tube had been cut short to fit Schwinn aero blade forks.

Luckily we know a man that could repair it, and now repairs having been done, it needs the bottom bracket retapping

and then it's off to paint. Then comes the hard part of sourcing all the original bits for another 1969 Tall Frame.

My Daily rider to and from work (4-5 miles) which is done in about 25-30 mins is an RSW16 mk III which has been a little

workhorse and has really built up my fitness, so that the riding of choppers feels a lot easier.

Once this vintage bike collecting bug hits, it hits hard. I have to stop buying bikes and finish my current projects.

I was born in the same year as my Tall Frame, except it looks a lot better for it's age and hasn't gained any excess weight.

Nice to be on here and see all your bikes, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the vintage bike bug.
