shonen kamen rider tai

Bicycles as seen in the 70's science fiction TV series 'Kamen Rider'. They are the 'Shonen Kamen Rider Tai' (少年仮面ライダー隊),  or the 'junior squad' assisting the heroes in the battles against monsters from outer space.

Pacer Mini Cycle Japan

Hi, this is a bike that I hunted down with the intention of restoring, but I have to let it go as I find it hard to work on it with a back injury. It is what the Japanese call a 'mini-cycle' which was popularised in the 70's. At the time, I believe this style was concurrently called 'mini velo' in Europe (according to a Peugeot catalog I read). All parts on this bike are made in Japan and it is all original, except for the seat which was missing when I got it (the black seat shown is a regular seat I put on to move the bike around).

Points of interest: (1) 70's white grips with reflectors (2) 70's white platform pedals (3) original basket (not shown), originL dynamo with 2 rear lights (3) rare 70's whitewall tires with a band of flower motifs all round (not shown). Oh and a bicycle stand too.

There is rust and you should have in your possession a wire brush, a dremmel or a bench grinder to DIY. I've checked the bike and nothing has rusted through. It's all surface rust which can be taken off and repainted / plated etc. I am looking at $120 for this. If you are keen on it drop me a pm and we can discuss further.

Thank you.

I used to have 5 bicycles at home... Got rid of 3. Now left one which belong to my wife and one to my father. Then I got a chopper to restore and my wife already feel like killing me. My friend lend me a bike to ride for the time being as I am bike-less now. So... I guess I am unable to get anymore bikes... House is too small...
