Must say the technological advancement during that period

I must say its evolution of human transportation.

Light and Fast is the key.

I have a soft spot for chromed head lugs and fork crowns.

Also, I love the way an older racing bike can flex in tune with your pedal stroke, so that you can ride a bigger gear with less fatigue. You aren't going any faster, but sometimes it just feels right to pedal an 80+ inch gear at a lower cadence, and it just feels effortless.
