Hand signals - Universal?

Hi all,

i would like to gather some thoughts on this, is the attached pics a universal method of communicating to the vehicle around you?

I certainly did not learn these when taking up on my motorcycle license.

Does these hand signals work in your country?

not that universal. but can quickly understand.

usually for stopping, it's an upright hand, palm forward. this one here is hand down, palm backwards.

or say for slowing down, it's a 45 degree downward flapping motion, kind of like a bird wing flap.
