Hi, I'm a newbie

A keen cyclist for many years, it had to be shelved due to family, health and other stuff

Having let some stunning road bikes slip through my fingers including Hoban , Hetchins and Carhall ( I liked them anyway ) I've got myself an old and tatty Kuwahara Hirame bike

It seems mostly original , not sure if the 700x28c rigida wide flange wheels are original but I like them , don't think the chainset is as everything is Suntour except that . I really like the frame geometry , suits me fine .

It's a steel frame with a crest on the seat tube saying ma

Anyway , does anyone have any range info from the eighties ? I'd also like to see if it's possible to get the original frame decals again or reproduced as i may respray it as the original chrome sections are pretty rough
