Info about my Shogun
Permalink Closed

Hello all! Im a newbie, but I'm beginning to get back into cycling. Ive got a fairly clean Shogun Cr mo 400. I had a 70's Panasonic that got stolen when I was about 15 years old. Shortly after my Panasonic got stolen, I picked up my Shogun at a garage sale for, get this, $20!. I love the way this bike rides, and its fairly light weight for the age. I started to do some upgrades back then ( New shimano rear derailleur, and new grip tape). I let the bike sit in my basement for years after I got my drivers license at 16. I'm 22 now, and I relocated to Houston, Texas from central Pennsylvania and decided to bring the bike with me, since I can ride year round. Late last year, I oiled the bike up, and replaced the old crusty whitewalls, with modern, thicker tires, and new tubes...still rides great. I'm actually planning to throw a set of flat bars on it this week. I would just like to know if this was a higher end bike back in the day, exactly how old it is, what it's worth now, and what y'all think of it. Thank you!
