Hello from Los Angeles, Mucho Gusto!
Permalink Closed

Greetings everyone,

SoCal native over here. Bitten by the Bike Bug about 6 years ago, and the condition has progressed to workout apps and occasional spandex.  I currently commute just shy of 10mi/16km on workdays, and do my best to squeeze as many social rides in as possible.

My last bike, a lovely 1981 Schwinn World Touring, was stolen a year ago (along with my Trek 700; I weep for them still).

I now have a gorgeous Peugeot (whom I call "Oz"). After some research, I estimate Oz to be a '77-'79, probably UO-8. I could easily be wrong.

Here is Oz in her current state: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6RzxatGzG6w/VKmt0bxCnTI/AAAAAAAAAcY/wCf4wb1tedA/w1607-h904-no/15%2B-%2B1

I'm fairly new to maintenance and repair, and you'll see me asking lots of questions in the appropriate threads.

Nice to meet Y'all!
