Survey about classic and retro bicycle parts (With prize draw)

Hello and welcome to my survey with Prize draw.

I am currently working in a product development team, at one of the biggest worldwide bicycle parts manufacturer.

This survey/Prize draw which is focusing on the classic and retro style bicycle parts, has been created for a market survey in this area in order to better understand this market and to find out what kind of products the customer is demanding to then learn if it would be worthwhile for our company to create products in this direction.

To make this survey more interesting for you the bicycle enthusiasts, I have added 3 prizes with a total value of around 800 USD to be won. Everyone who enters the survey will automatically enter the draw. The survey will be open from the 4th of April 2014 to the 16th of May 2014. Just a small update of information on the prizes to be won.
1st Prize: Bicycle repair and cair kit (Repair stand, and care products) with a value of about 530 USD
2nd Prize: Bicycle front and rear lighting + bicycle computer with a value of about 160 USD
3rd Prize: Bicycle backpack with a carrry volume of 20 Liter, value of around 115 USD
New 4th Prize: Vintage bottle cage with a value of around 18 USD
New 5th Prize: Vintage bottle cage with a value of around 18 USD

Ok time of some of the first statistic results from the survey so far .
This time about who exactly took part in the survey.
Total surveys 229
Top 5 participating countries:
1. 58 from Australia
2. 55 from the USA
3. 38 from the UK
38 from France
5. 9 from Germany
The majority or 49% are in the age group of 45 to 64
96% were men
90% are active cyclists
53% are relaxed riders
Top 3 bicycles they are using:
1. 50% Road bike
2. 49% Retro bike
3. 46% Classic road and touring bike
The 3 things that are the most important for them in a bicycle:
1. 69% Reliability/Quality
2. 62% Style/Design
3. 53% Fun
Top 3 Reasons why they like classic or retro bicycles:
1. The look/design/appearance
2. The nostalgia factor (reminds them of the past)
3. The history of old bicycles

Ok I finally I received a more detailed list of the prices to be won and there has been some minor changes. Total prize value over 900 USD

1st prize:
Feedback Sports: Pro Elite stand with tool holder, Var: Cleaning kit and a workshop apron. Total value around 555 USD

2nd prize:
Cateye: Volt 300 front light, Rapid 1 rear light, Padrone cycling computer. Total value about 220 USD

3rd prize:
Shimano: Tsukinist 20 Liter Backpack in black. Total value about 115 USD

4th and 5th prize>
Zefal vintage bottlecage. Total value about 18 USD each

At midnight US Pacific time the survey will be closed.
For UK members it will close around 8:30 In the morning for you guys.
The prize draw will take place just a few hours after closing of the survey and I will be informing the winners by E-Mail.

Congratulation to the winners!
Prize winners have been notified via E-Mail on Friday.
So here are the prize winners:

1st place: Loïc F. from Seine-Maritime, France
2nd place: winner from USA but no reply
3rd place: Jonathan Q. from Lincolnshire, UK
4th place: winner from the UK but no reply
5th place: John D. from South Dakota, USA

I have notified the two others twice but they have not yet responded, I also told them that they have 3 days left to reply.
If they do not reply there will be a new draw and the 2 remaining prizes will be attribuated to other people who took part in the survey.

Later this week I will share with you the results from the survey.
