Hi everyone! It is great to see all the vintage riders gathered together. Recently i managed to get my hands on a old school shimano roadie at a cheap price. I didn't think much of it until i googled and found out that the bike is not shimano frame but it is just shimano decals placed on the bike frame. After a tedious search online, the bike identity was found to be a 1981 Miyata semi pro roadie with full Japan-made shimano parts. Since then, i am excited to restore the bike and here i found this forum with like minded people. Vintage bikes are timeless and beautiful. No doubt, it is awesome to own a vintage roadie and ride it on the streets! I hope to learn more and gain more knowledge and experience from fellow forum members about these vintage bicycles. Ride the wind and ride safe everyone:) -Miyata Oldie
