So I have just received my mid 80's Colnago Mexico from Sicily, Italy. I am wondering if anybody know where to build up the bike? It's still in parts and I wouldn't want risk going to Any LBS. are there any shops which specialises in vintage bike build up? And what is the cost? Thanks!
Think you should give Ah Wee a call He is an honest guy He won't rip you off Just remember to mention "Classic Vintage Cycles - The forum" to get better service!
Just today I asked him about whether he can repair my campy wheel because one of my spokes broke... His reply really surprised me.. "I only repair if you brought the wheel set from me"
Next I asked about any Mavic wheel set with campy hub. He told me Mavic Wheel does not come with campy hub.. He said you must buy the Mavic Wheelset n take out the Mavic hub n buy a new Campy Record ($850) install back with the new Mavic Rim.
I only can just walk away... Not wanting him to think I am a fool not knowing such technical stuff.
