I have recently acquired this fascinating bike, but I can't figure out what steel tubing it is made of. The craftmanship of the welds, Campy dropouts, and braze-on for a race number, Cinelli spoiler BB suggests this to be a high end frame from the late 80's. The frame was built by Albuch Kotter (German). There are longitudinal ridges visible on the OUTSIDE of the tubing. The seatpost diameter is 27.2mm. Any suggestions as to the tubing used for the frame and quality of the frame would be greatly appreciated!
