Restoration 101 - How to make your black handlebar stem chrome

Use a rough sandpaper to remove the surface paint/coat

Slowly work your way to a finer sandpaper (120) to get rid of the hairline scratches

Once your done with that, polish it with car wax

I'll always use my trusty old polishing machine though wink

You'll achieve a better result if you use a more finer sandpaper

Remember, this needs patience
