Restoration 101 - How to make your old handlebar stem like new!

An old handlebar stem has been through lots of beatings

Surface scratches are unavoidable

This is one thing you always look at when you are riding (****pit)

To remove the surface scratches, use a needle file  and gently file down till the scratches are gone

Bare in mind NOT to remove too much material

You can then polish it with Autosol, with a buffing machine will yield a more satisfying result!

Enjoy, and good luck with your restoration project!
