The general rule of thumb is to lean forward when climbing uphill, still seated.

Pedal stand should be the last resort since it requires more strength.

Start on a suitable gearing before commencing slope, calculate the distance of the slope.

Regulate your breathing, lock in position, pedal at your comfort pace.

Do not blast it away thinking you can conquer it, you exhaust yourself in midst of ascend.

It should be a gradual climb so you are able to blast it away after conquering it.

Whats your thoughts?

Cheers.

It's easieto do it if you rock the bike side to side, so when the right foot is falling, the bicycle is leaned to the left, an so on

It helps to exaggerate it a bit!
