What are the numbers on the Sturmey Archer hub means

You'll find two sets of numbers on the SA hubs
One that tells you the month, and the other tells you the year
For example, if you see "10 68", that means that the manufacture date is October 1968

Now you can easily estimate the date your Raleigh bicycles were made
But that is if it originally came with the frame

Alternatively, you can check the serial number on the bicycle for more accurate dating.
