We have lots of rides in the UK. I organise one in our local town. Its a matter of doing it yourself. Forums like this are vital. What you need to do is pick a day, usually a weekend, and advertise the ride at least 2 months in advance. Work out a meet up point that is easy to find and with car parking. A pub is quite a good one near to a railway station so people can get there. Don't plan to go too far, maybe 8 miles. Is there anywhere with cycle only routes away from cars or local parks to include in the route. Ride the route yourself to work out how long it takes and maybe stop for some food and drink while everyone can have a chat.
Here are some pictures of one of our rides..........Remember, organise it yourself, you only get out what you put in
This ride was in March this year and in the middle of England so isn't much use to all of you but it does show what can be done if you put your mind to it.
